Desk Accessories

I am just at work looking through my things and hoping that I can get my boss to buy me some new desk accessories. I am running out of stationery and what I do have I never seem to use. I think that it is time for me to have a clear out and start again. I also need some places to keep things. I seem to have everything spilling over each other in my drawers. I think a pen holder might be a good start and then perhaps some ways of keeping paper clips and pins together ? little boxes of some sort. Then there are all the cards, I desperately need a set of good business card holders to get some organisation. Hopefully I will be able to convince my boss that it will make me more efficient if things are organised better, which it will of course and then he might let me order some bits and pieces. He likes things being tidy as well and often looks at the state of my desk with a long hard stare! He is usually pretty good with buying things like that as long as the department has the budget for it.

Unique Bridesmaid Gifts

I have been hunting around for some unique bridesmaid gifts. There are lots of places that sell them now, which helps. The Internet is a great place to look as there are all sorts of different on line shops selling a variety of things. Some of them being specific bridesmaids gifts and others being more general gift places where I was probably more likely to find something a bit more unique than they might have. It is very time consuming looking through all of these website and I have not yet managed to find what I want really, but it has been a lot of fun. There are a great selection of bridemaids key rings, jewellery, candles, pens and things but I really want something a bit more special than that and so am prepared to spend a lot of time and effort looking around for bridesmaid gift ideas until I find exactly what I am looking for. I have an idea that a handbag might be a good gift but it is hard to know what type to get, but I am sure I will know when I find the right thing. It is lucky that I have a nice long time to hunt around.

Advancements in medical world

PACS stands for Picture archiving and communication system. It is an electronic network that connects MRI, CT, Ultrasound to computers so that it displays images to all physicians. Most common format for storing images is DICOM. These are advanced medical imaging facilities which enhance health care. So any image can be taken in a AMI (advance medical imaging) facility and the images can be read, viewed, by other physicians or radiologists sitting in a different part of the world. PACS imaging provides doctors with special diagnostic tools from which he can make his evaluations.

The patient does not need to carry the scans anywhere and he can get good diagnosis quickly.

Web based orthopedic PACS offer advanced features for orthopedic applications and to aid orthopedic surgeons. It has planning module, tools for distance and angle measurements, spine labeling. Radiology reading rooms should be re designed to suit the latest needs. With such technological advances that are being made in the medical field, consideration has to be given to the radiologists who will be using PACS imaging. The new radiology reading rooms should have PACS workstations and they should longer have x ray machines there. Ergonomic seating, good lighting are very crucial and can enhance their performance.
