I had a wonderful time yesterday wandering around my home town. My husband took his parents out to lunch there as there is a lively restaurant that we like going to. Then we had a walk around the town. We looked at an out door art exhibition and around some of the parks and gardens and then we wandered around the shops. It was a Sunday and they were very surprised at how many shops were open and they refused to go in any because they still treat Sunday as a sabbath and think that you should not work on that day. I was enjoying lookig in the shop windows as the shops there are rather grand. I spotted some very nice women’s shoes which had heels far too high for me, but looked fabulous. I was also enjoying looking at the range of formal dresses which all looked lovely. It was amazing how many of them were reduced in price, in fact most shops had a sale on. I had to smile when we went past a teen clothing shop and my father in law said how horrid he thought everything in the window was. I must admit that it was not the nicest shop but I didn’t think it was that bad!
